Shorts Auto Next is a Chrome extension that provides hands-free playback controls for YouTube Shorts.

Data collection

Shorts Auto Next does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data.

The extension does not collect:

- Watch history

- Video titles

- YouTube account information

- Personal information

- Analytics

- Payment information

Local storage

The extension stores user preferences locally in the browser using chrome.storage.local.

These preferences may include:

- Auto-next enabled or disabled

- Auto-advance timing

- Replay count

- Long-video skip setting

- Pause-on-interaction setting

These settings stay on the user's device and are not sent to any server.

Permissions

Shorts Auto Next uses the storage permission to save local preferences. It uses activeTab and limited YouTube Shorts host permissions only to detect the active Shorts page, control playback, and open or focus a Shorts tab when requested by the user.

Donations

The extension may include a Ko-fi donation link. Donations are handled by Ko-fi and its payment providers. Shorts Auto Next does not process payments or collect payment information.
